At Forexx we are looking to elevate your career to a next level and this opportunity might be yours to take. Join our client’s team as a Hydrogen Combustion Engine Calibration Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for contributing to planning, aligning processes, steps, and tools related to engine and aftertreatment systems. Your primary tasks will include developing test plans, conducting development tests and performing complex analyses to ensure optimal performance. Additionally, you will be tasked with documenting and evaluating test results, coördinating test setup and execution, and collaborating within project teams to achieve departmental objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, aligning processes, steps, and tools.
  • Drafting test plans, conducting development tests, and analyzing engines and aftertreatment systems and their controls.
  • Focusing on engine and aftertreatment calibration activities to fulfill functional and performance-related criteria.
  • Documenting and evaluating test results.
  • Coordinating test setup and execution.
  • Crafting new test procedures for engines and aftertreatment systems and their controls.
  • Overseeing procedures and processes within the organization to meet department and project goals.
  • Actively enhancing test efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborating within project teams.

About you

Education
To excel in this role the following is required:
Master degree on Mechanical or Automotive engineering with demonstrable experience on mechatronics.

Experience
• Knowledge of internal combustion engines and related sub-systems.
• In depth knowledge of modern control strategies and electronics.
• Knowledge on thermodynamics and fluid dynamics is preferred.
• Familiar with measurement techniques for temperature, pressure, flow and data analysis.
• Enthusiasm to deal with complex engine systems and development of solutions for complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High level of professionalism and proactivity.
• Able to work in a complex project oriented environment.
• At least 3 years of experience in a comparable position.
• Good English skills are mandatory combined with willingness to learn Dutch.
